The Business Technology Lead oversees and leads the solutions development and delivery, aiming at amplifying Informa’s business value, competitiveness and unlock new revenue opportunities. Making easier to our customers do business with Informa and removing complexity of internal daily work. Should be sensible and watchful about tech trends like AI, connectivity, facial recognition, 5G, VR/AR looking bring to real-world the application of those emerging technologies. Leading and collaborating with POs, PMs, and external product and technology teams to pilot initiatives combining business vision with technology knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as the primary technology advisor, leading solution development, execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership & Development of product teams.
  • Ensure that technological resources meet company security/compliance.
  • Manage roadmap and backlog for digital products and solutions that reflects the company's planning.
  • Conduct user research and usability studies, collaborating with designers, developers, and research teams to identify opportunities for new or existing features.
  • Oversee requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance to facilitate continuous iteration and improvements.
  • Partner regularly with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization.

Requisitos e qualificações


Background knowledge, skills and experience


  • Bachelor’s or Master any graduation in Business, Technology, Product, Data, Marketing or related area;
  • Relevant experience in relevant Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture domains;
  • Experience in leading consulting or customer-facing project-based work;
  • Knowledge of Front-End with Javascript, CSS, HTML, Angular 8, Bootstrap;
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g.: SQL, Cassandra, Mongo DB, REDIS);
  • Knowledge in REST/JSON, gRPC, Design patterns, SOLID, TDD and BDD calls;
  • Knowledge in software quality (e.g.: BDD, TDD, unit tests, integrated tests);
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies;
  • Agile project methodology, Project management, Results management, Planning;
  • Proven experience in digital business development or related specialty areas;
  • Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking;
  • Demonstrated capabilities in teamwork and leadership;
  • Self-organized to prioritize work;

Desirable

  • Architecture certificate (AWS, Azure, GCP);
  • Agile, project and/or product management certificates;
  • Preview experience with launching new digital products;
